Spring 2018 Mental Health Simulation Begins

Alex Bautista (left) and Lily Wright (right) monitor the activities on the first day of our mental health simulation cycle for the spring 2018 semester. A total of 70 students will participate in our six-part standardized patient scenario dealing with a patient suffering from schizophrenia. The communication activities cover multiple aspects of mental health nursing, including auditory and visual hallucinations, medication side effects, depression, and self harm.
