Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Prelicensure program for entry into the nursing profession. Second Baccalaureate students, please apply to BSN A program.
Fall and Spring Entry Admissions
ADN-BSN
A collaborative model for academic progression in Nursing between SF State School of Nursing and designated California Community College (CCC) partners.
Spring Entry Admission
Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN A)
The same as the regular BSN program. The Accelerated BSN Program is a four-semester program that includes the summer session (a 15-month program) for second Baccalaureate students only.

Graduate Programs
Entry Level Master of Science in Nursing (ELM)
This prelicensure program is designed for students who possess a non-nursing bachelor’s degree and are seeking to enter the nursing profession. Graduates will earn a BSN and MSN degree.
Fall Entry Admission
Accelerated Entry Level Master of Science in Nursing (ELM-A)
Two-year full-time ELM cohort-based program, which includes summer sessions.
Spring Entry Admission
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
A Program for California RNs with bachelor's degrees in nursing.
Fall Entry Admission
Post Master's Certificate
Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate (FNP)
This program is designed for California RNs with a master's or doctoral degree in nursing and desire to become a nurse practitioner.
